About the Role
We are now seeking a highly motivated Part Time DAY PORTER to join our amazing team. The Day Porter will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing public areas, restrooms, kitchens, trash removal and a small parking garage during their shift. Must be available Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 3:30pm (hours may vary from to time).We have various locations in Round Rock, North Austin, Leander and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates for this position are detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as needed.
Job Duties
Work independently, learn and follow instructions with little or no supervision.
Performjanitorial tasks that will include dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping,mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal.
Use industrial cleaning supplies and equipment.
Maintain equipment in safe, clean and orderly manner.
Responsible for requestingequipment and supplies as needed.
Attend all required meetings and training.
Adhere to safety procedures.
Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to a supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
One year of experience in a related field is preferred; however, it is not a strict requirement for applicants. This physical demand is essential as the role may require maneuvering in different environments and handling equipment or materials that are substantial in weight. A good level of physical fitness will aid in successfully completing daily responsibilities.
It is imperative that employees can report to their assigned job location punctually and dressed in the appropriate company attire.
